As Terry Dunber, From Ocala, First Time To Putnam said “ I am really impressed by the condition of the track all night!” From the drop of the green flag to the checkered it was a battle for the top spot. Bobby Giles from Palatka, Florida got up on the high side, made it three wide down the backstretch between Dunber and Jonathon Green. But after taking the white flag Giles got a little more side ways then usual but saved it. Dunber took the lead for the win, Green 2nd and Giles 3rd .

As the green came out Clyde Herron grabbed the lead going into turn one, but as the second lap came around Herron slipped high and Costello grabbed the lead and bringing Kevin Mills with him. Costello and Mills stayed in that order for the rest of the race. With Herron trying his hardest to maintain his position he was have overheating troubles and slipped into the fourth spot as Eddie Rosier got around him and settled into the 3rd spot finish.
In the Sportsman division the caution came out three times in three laps. After everything got sorted out Ricky Land from Plant City, Florida took the win, Jackie Joe Bennett took the second position and Martin Johnson came in third.
Hobby Stock division points leader David Miller Jr. put his Ford powered machine out in front and never looked back. But as the war erupted for second spot between Kenny Durham and Randy Moody, side by side, lap after lap, Durham would finally take the second spot by a fender at the checkered with Randy Moody taking third.
