The first night of a two night racing weekend kicked off in grand style Friday night with 124 cars in the pits at Eastbay Raceway Park. Three of the track classes took to the track along with the StormPay.com Crate Late Models.

Gough led many of the early caution filled laps and was able to hold off the field during the numerous restarts. Roger Crouse started in the 15th position and raced his way to the front of the field.
Gough led the race at the white flag but was not able to hold off the charge of Roger Crouse. Crouse used a last lap pass to take the win in exciting fashion. Gough finished 2nd. Tim Gay was 3rd. Jeremy Simpson and J.R. Prather Jr. rounded out the top 5. Bruce Harvey and Gough won the heat races.
