Ricky Bullard Jr. is having the best racing summer of his life.
Not only has the Arcadia hotfoot found the winner's circle in Sportsman, but he made it two straight victories in Outlaw Street Stocks at Charlotte County Motorsports Park.
Bullard captured Saturday night's 50-lapper at the Punta Gorda 3/8-mile paved oval, holding off the likes of Shane Leonard, Mike Wilson and Donnie Ollie Jr.
Bullard zoomed the No. 10 rocket ship to the front on lap 7 and was able to create some breathing room ahead of Leonard as the race wore on.
Other drivers have also had success in the 10 car owned by Rob Shaver this year. Terry Shaver and Joey Shaver have also won in the car sponsored by Spokes and Spurs in Nocatee.
Bullard dedicated the win to crew member Dave Morr, who was celebrating his wedding anniversary with wife Kim.
Bullard will try to keep his summer streak going this coming Saturday night as the Sportsman cars are scheduled to go 50 laps.
In other action Saturday night, Port Charlotte's Sean McLaughlin powered his King Excavating 99 car to victory lane in the 35-lap feature for Open Wheel Modifieds. He passed Scott McDaniel for the lead on lap 15.
Scotty Kleiber celebrated his return to racing in Punta Gorda by taking second in the 25 car. Ray Vann of Tampa took third in a photo finish over the 2 car of John Rogers.
Thunder Trucks ran a 25-lap feature with Ray Jayne of Punta Gorda running away with it in the 35 truck.
Mike Bialecki of Fort Ogden battled hard to bring his 8 truck from the rear to the front. He passed Richard Dupont for second late in the race, but a flat tire on the last lap allowed Dupont to grab the two spot. Bialecki had just enough to salvage third.
Bialecki won later in the evening, he was the survivor in the "Laat Man Standing" Figure 8 Boat Race.
The race actually ran the opposite way it normally does.
It came down to the top two captains -- Bialecki and Wally Smith. Bialecki dumped Smith's boat to grab the booty.
Dan Scott was the winner in the 25-lap Super Stock feature. Ryan Pancoast and Rob Popkin finished second and third, but their cars were disqualified in post race technical inspection. That moved George Richardson up to second and Josh Calvert to third.
In Pro 4s, Derek Gray won in the 89 car. Chris Lucas was second and Danny Daniels took third.
This coming Saturday night will see Super Late Models return to CCMP for a 100-lapper.
