Auburndale Speedway had the Grand Opening Saturday that is what every new business looks forward to, after all the work that has been done at the speedway the gates opened at 10 AM for meet and greet and practice. The speedway was packed for the first time that I can remember, and I have personally been there for many years and through many owners. We had over 160 cars that took the green flag for their race. There was standing room only in the grandstands. People were parked across the street and down the road to get into the track. It was a night to remember. There were all kinds of door prizes given away that were donated by several business around the area. Congratulation to the Hyatt family for a great Grand Opening.
