Boyd passed Wheeler, then Riley and was looking for the lead when he and the leader Shane Held got together with Held spinning. Both were sent to the rear for the restart with Dave Riley as the new leader.

But it was Matt Wheeler who passed Riley and took the checkered followed by Dave Riley, Lynn Dicandio, Jason Boyd and Shane Held.

Dalton Zehr had the pole for the Bandolero Young Guns and quickly took the point on the green followed by Scott Jarrett, Kevin Henry, Brandon Thomson, and Blake Diecks. The first and only caution came out when Chelsea Schilling spun coming off two on the backstretch.
