Frights and Thrills at "Haunted" Volusia Speedway Park Friday, October 30th | VSP MEDIA
BARBERVILLE, FL – October 22, 2009 —
“Egor, get the trailer ready.”
“Yes, Master, so we can collect dead bodies.”
“No Egor, we’re racing in the Twisted Trailer race at Volusia Speedway Park.”
On Friday, October 30, it’s more fun than a barrel of monsters at Volusia Speedway Park, with Twisted Trailer racing, Haunted Hay Rides and a 100 lap Eery Enduro race. Thrills and spills and Halloween Haunts are in store Friday night at Volusia Speedway Park! Wear your costumes for special contests.
A Haunted Hay Ride is sure to scare both young and old! Last year the Haunted Hay Ride was a big hit and this year’s ride promises even more frights and thrills. The woods at VSP are haunted and there is no telling what horrors will appear when the trailers make their way back there.
In preparation for the serious Trick or Treating on Halloween night, Volusia Speedway will have plenty of treats to get the kids started.
Tired of cleaning up the weeds around that old trailer out back? It doesn’t matter what kind of trailer, just be prepared to trail it until the last trailer trails! A Twisted Trailer Race will add a special element of excitement to the event. The participant with the last trailer trailing will take home a special commemorative trophy and $100. $50 will be awarded to the best decorated [Halloween theme] trailer.
One hundred laps of Enduro excitement with no cautions will keep the chills running up and down everyone’s spines. $2000 will be awarded to the winner. Halloween themed decoration of the Enduro cars is encouraged with a prize for the best appearing.
