Volusia Speedway Park Closed October 17th Returns October 24th with the UDLMCS Late Model Fall Nationals | VSP MEDIA
Barberville, FL (October 13, 2009) Volusia Speedway Park will take off this Saturday night, October 17, and will return on Saturday, October 24th with the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series and the Fall Late Model Nationals for $5000 to win. Plus on the card are the Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Thunder Stocks.
"We are very excited about the Fall Nationals coming," said General Manager Tonya Moschell. "On Friday night, they will race their first leg at Ocala Speedway and then move to Volusia for the second leg. On Friday night at Ocala, they will go for $3000 to win and come here Saturday for $5000 to win. That means that if someone won both Friday and Saturday, they could go home with possibly $8000 in their pocket. Not bad for a weekend of short track dirt racing in Florida."
"And fans need to remember if they are holding rainout tickets or bands from September 12th and September 26th, they will be honored for any one VSP race through October 30th. No refund for difference in grandstand ticket price."
General admission on October 24th will be $15.00, students 11-15 $7.00, children 10 and under FREE. Drive-in parking is $10.00.
On October 30th, it is Halloween Haunts at Volusia Speedway Park with Eery Enduro Race, Twisted Trailer Racing, Haunted Hay Ride, Tricks and Treats. The enduro will be for $2000 to win and you can find the entry form and rules at www.volusiaspeedwaypark.com on the front page. All kids are invited to wear their scariest Halloween outfits and trick ir treat at Volusia Speedway Park. Hopefully there will be more treating than tricking.

You won't want to miss one second of Late Model action on Friday and Saturday, October 23rd and 24th. Be sure to join us as the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series drivers make their last appearance in 2009 at Volusia Speedway Park.
Volusia Speedway Park will have their Night of Champions on November 21st at the Daytona 500 Club in the infield of Daytona International Speedway. Space is limited so you need to get your tickets as soon as possible. Tickets are $30.00 and are available at Volusia Speedway Park track office by calling Kari. Casual attire, please no blue jeans, with social hour from 6 to 7 pm, dinner at 7 pm, awards ceremony to follow dinner.
