There is a New Website in Town for Florida Dirt Track News | FDTN MEDIA
Merritt Island, FL (October 8, 2009) There is a brand new dirt website in the State of Florida that covers Ocala Speedway, Volusia Speedway Park, Putnam County Speedway, Eastbay Raceway Park, Hendry County Motorsports Park and North Florida Speedway. The new site is www.floridadirttracknews.com.
On floridadirttracknews.com you will find race results, race stories, a forum for fans to post in, and just stories from the fans and racers about dirt track racing. Eventually the site will cover the track owners, general managers, staff and officials at each of the six tracks so fans can get to know who are the ones behind their favorite dirt track racing. There will also be a driver profiled each week from all six tracks from all classes. It will only grow and grow in the weeks and months to come.
"I really wanted to start a site for dirt tracks here in Florida," said Jane Smith, owner of the new website. "Everyone knows asphalt drivers because of karnac.com but few know the great drivers and tracks in dirt racing. Having switched from an asphalt girl to a dirt track girl this year, I decided it was time that everyone knew the dirt world as well as they know the asphalt world."
"Thanks to my brother Rick Smith pushing me to do this and building the website for me, we can now introduce www.floridadirttracknews.com to the world. I am very excited about this and only hope that it will do nothing but grow and grow."
"Here you will find weekly results plus race stories and we welcome any stories from racers and fans on dirt racing. Racing brings families together and there are alot of great stories out there on how this happened to your family. I welcome any and all stories about dirt track racing. It is great when people put down on paper what they feel in their hearts and people also love to read that. So start submitting any stories you would like to see published on the website."
"I would also like to say thanks to Rick Warren Photography and Jim Jones Photography for their help with the site. You can find both their great photography on the website by clicking on their links. Plus we will have our own great shots to add."
Everyone is welcome and you can join the forum by registering and start posting away. Eventually we will have a classified section for parts to be sold and bought and also a technical section (Engines) where you can post any technical questions you have for a track.
