June 8, 2008 Johnny Collins Wins Powell at Ocala By Rick Anges Ocala, Fl. Johnny Collins took his second win of the season at the 13th Annual Powell Memorial. This was the first time the historic race was ever run on the dirt. Former NLMS Champion was flawless on route to the checkered flag and taking the trophy home. Shane Williams who was piloting the back up car of Kent Corbin finished in the second spot. Former asphalt stand out Rich Pratt took the third spot. The United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series once again broke a record in only it’s sixth race by drawing fifty three cars for the big race at Ocala.
