Winter Haven, FL -February 23, 2008- Keith Lilley made it two wins in a row this season as he won the abbreviated Stars Pro Truck Series feature at Auburndale Speedway Saturday night. Lilley's first win came back on February 3rd in a non-points race as part of Speedfest Weekend at the Winter Haven oval.
Lilley started on the outside of row one with Jason Vail on the pole for the 25 lapper decreased from the originally scheduled 50 laps because of a short field. At the drop of the green the two took off side by side and stayed that way through the first lap. Lilley was able to shake off Vail on lap two to take the lead with Vail running second, Mike Smith third, Mario Romay fourth and Mike Cenzi fifth.
The running order remained that way until lap 22 when Vail cut a tire and had to retire to the infield. This moved Smith up to the number two spot followed by Romay and Cenzi and that is the way they stayed until the checkered flag.
In the companion 20 lap Stars Young Guns Truck Series feature it was Lance Daubach registering his first win of the 2008 season doing it up in fine style by leading from green to checker. Austin Stamper took second with Nick Hernandez, Aubrey Burris and Dion Holmes completing the top five on the scoresheet.
Shawn Harper Shawn Harper nailed down the win in the 25 lap Sportsman feature besting Aaron Williamson, James Wright III, ageless veteran Dave Dunkin, and L.J. Grimm.

It was a tale of two leaders as at the mid point of the race Pate was passed on the bottom by Eric Cuchta in the Matt Kenseth look alike car. Left out to dry on the top of the track Pate was drop kicked back to 7th before he was able to pull back in line.
When the checkered flag waved it was Cuchta claiming the win followed by Jason Bertsch, Levi Parsons, Scott Sharpe and Jason Rendell.
The Fast Mini Cup race win, over the 25 lap distance, went to Jason Schroeder who took the lead from Jerry Parker at the half way point. Frank Phister finished third, with Rick Auriemma fourth and Flint Anderson fifth.

Eugene Davidson wired the 20 lap Mini Stock feature which saw some great racing action. There was an intense battle going on for the third position between Robert Bryant, Jr. Chris Spring and Fred Harrison, Jr. in the mid point of the race. Spring made contact with the rear of Bryan's car sending him around on the backstretch. Track officials decided to put the whole threesome to the rear of the pack for the restart moving Jared Guy up to third behind Davidson and Donnie Guy for the restart.
The top three ran in that order to the checkers with Spring and Harrison racing up from the back of the pack to finish fourth and fifth respectively.
David Holland led from start to finish in the 20 lap Street Stock feature. Holland was pressured throughout the race by Ronnie Miller, who spun Holland out on lap 15 and relegated to the rear of the field. Holland was given the lead back with 15 year old Brandon Morris second, and Robert Capps third.
