Also racing their way to feature event wins were Allen Brinkley in Sportsman, Andy Olson in Pure Stock and Daryl Larson in Box Stock.

Sportsman were the first division to hit the speedway for the feature events and Allen Brinkley would start on the pole. With outside pole sitter Heath Walker unable to answer the call for the feature Brinkley would out race Jamie Dayhaw and Wayne O,Neal for the early lead. Brinkley would fend off several challenges from O’Neal and claim his second win in as many starts in a caution free race.

Open Wheel Modifieds would take to the track next with Josh Sanford taking the early lead. David Crews would challenge Sanford on two early restarts but a his chance would come on a lap five restart as Crews would power his way past Sanford using the inside groove down the back straightaway. From there Crews would open up a wide gap on Sanford and take down his second win of 2011. Shawn Taylor would follow Sanford to the checkers to round out the top three.

The Florida Mini Sprint Association would roll onto the speedway with David Hall setting the pace for the first two circuits before a caution would fly for a turn one incident with Eddie Moss Jr. spinning and point leader Chris Pacetti getting collected and ending his night early. On the restart Ken Penta and Harold Matthews would make it a three wide battle for the lead along with Hall but Matthews would emerge as the new leader as the field put lap number three in the books. Soon after last weeks winner David Pleaugh would work his way to second and set his sights on Matthews. As the field came to the half way signal Pleaugh would be scored as the new leader. Only a caution with two to go would slow down the 711 and Matthews last lap challenge would not be enough to deny Pleaugh his second straight win.

Corey Crews would lead the first lap of the Box Stock feature but by lap two Daryl Larson would take over the top spot. On lap three Billy Wilson would bring out the yellow after making slight contact with the inside retaining wall on the back stretch but he was able to drive away. One lap later the yellow would fly again for Shaylynn Taylor and Steven Wethrington. With another caution and time running out a green white checker finish would be called for but three wide coming off the exit of turn two would not work and Amber Willis would end up resting on the top of the back stretch wall. Larson would take one more lap under green and his second win of 2011 was now in the books. Corey Crews would finish in the runner up spot with point leader Bryar Zimmerman rounding out the top three.

Pure Stocks would round out the action and the front row of Brent Strickland and James Strickland would make contact going into turn one and sending the field scattering. With both cars going to the pit area a new attempt to start the race would see Shawn Creech emerging as the leader on lap one. Creech’s time at the front would be short lived as he went to the pits on lap three. Jerry Fortner came into the nights action as the point leader with a slim one point lead over Shane Taylor. He was hoping to extend that lead as Taylor suffered a broken axle on lap one. Fortner would take over the lead from Chris Rowe but Rowe would not go away easily as fought back to reclaim the lead. Andy Olson would put himself at the front of the field on lap even. Lap ten would see Fortner’s night come to an end while battling for third with Doran Cheney and Fortner spinning in turn one and getting collected by Anthony Lignore. Olson would survive one more caution with one lap to go and bring home his second win of 2011.

The cars from DAARA were also in attendance and fans were treated to some history on wheels as they made their first visit to NFS of 2011. Pat McNear and Steve Parrish took top honors in the mods and stocks division and Dave Cash and Bobby Jordan would take sprint and midget honors.

Next week the Late Models return along with Street Stocks,Pure Stocks Limited Mods and Box Stocks.
