{"id":6601,"date":"2011-05-14T21:53:06","date_gmt":"2011-05-14T21:53:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/?p=6601"},"modified":"2011-05-16T17:21:42","modified_gmt":"2011-05-16T17:21:42","slug":"punta-gorda-races-cancelled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/series\/punta-gorda-races-cancelled\/","title":{"rendered":"Punta Gorda 5\/14 Races Cancelled"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<p>From Linda Jericka<\/p>\n<p>Punta Gorda Speedway had to cancel the nights racing on\u00a0May 14th due  to the heavy rain storms that came in right before race time.<\/p>\n<p>Next week May 21st will be a night you do not want to miss when the Open Wheel Modifieds return for 75 laps,<\/p>\n<p>Who can break the winnig streak of Doug Moff, who has won the last three in row.<\/p>\n<p>Also racing will be Super Stock, SE Champ Karts, Pro 4\/ Fab 4 for 40  laps, Road Warriors, T.Q, Midgets and the Mini Stock for 40 Laps<\/p>\n<p>Front gates open at 5:00pm with racing to start at 6:00pm<\/p>\n<p>All  this racing for only $10.00 so bring a friend and come hungry, great  food and ice cold drinks and some of the best racing in the state.<\/p>\n<p>That is why Punta Gorda Speedway is the place to be on Saturday Night<\/p>\n<p>Admission is only $10.00 for Adults $8.00 for seniors children 12 and under are FREE.<\/p>\n<p>Punta Gorda Speedway is located at 8655 Piper Road.
