{"id":5230,"date":"2011-02-25T13:31:48","date_gmt":"2011-02-25T13:31:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/?p=5230"},"modified":"2011-02-25T13:42:03","modified_gmt":"2011-02-25T13:42:03","slug":"punta-gorda-speedway-2011-racing-season-starts-feb-25th-26th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/tracks\/punta-gorda-speedway-charlotte-county-motorsports-park\/punta-gorda-speedway-2011-racing-season-starts-feb-25th-26th\/","title":{"rendered":"Punta Gorda Speedway 2011 Racing Season Starts Feb 25th &#038; 26th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><abbr title=\"2011-02-24\">Punta Gorda, FL -February 24, 2011- <\/abbr>Punta Gorda Speedway will kick off it\u2019s 2011 Race Season on Feb 26th.<\/p>\n<p>Saturdays races: Sportsman, Pro Trucks, Rookie trucks, Dwarf Car Winter Nationals,Pro 4, Fab 4, Road Warriors and Outlaw Modifieds.<\/p>\n<p>New gates times for Saturday racing:<\/p>\n<p>Pit Gates will open at 3:00pm and Front Gates to open at 5:00pm with racing to start at 6:30pm.<br \/>\nFront Gate Admission: Adults $10.00, Seniors $8.00, Children 12 and under are FREE.<\/p>\n<p>Call the speedway for more info at 941-575-7223<\/p>\n<p>All pit parking for Saturday\u2019s racing will be determined by the size of your truck and hauler.<\/p>\n<p>Friday Night Feb 25th Schedule:<\/p>\n<p>Dwarf Car Asphalt Winter Nationals<br \/>\nQualifying and Feature<br \/>\nOpen practice from 4:00 to 9:00<br \/>\n(pits will open at 4:00pm Friday night)<br \/>\nDwarf car drivers and crew members<br \/>\n$30.00 each for Friday night<\/p>\n<p>Price to enter into the pits for practice Friday night $10.00 per person.\u00a0 Front gate (Friday Night) to watch the Dwarf Car Nationals and practice $5.00.<br \/>\nConcession will be open Friday night with a limited menu.<br \/>\nDue to restrictions of the new road out front you cannot enter the speedway at the old entrance any longer.
