The evening started with cocktails and a buffet style dinner for the seventy some guests that attended the event.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Gimmler of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. was crowned the Driver Champion, his first sprint car title. Driving the Norm Gimmler # 51, his first championship also, the team had 6 top ten finishes, 5 top five finishes, 1 feature win and a Barfield Clean Sweep win.<\/p>\n<p>Jimmy Alvis Jr., in his first full year with the CFSS finished second and was awarded the Performance Analysis Rookie of the Year, with 7 top ten finishes, 3 top five finishes, 1 feature win and 1 Barfield Clean Sweep. Gary Gimmler was third with 5 top five finishes and 1 feature win.  Fourth went to Keith Butler with 5 top ten finishes, 4 top five finishes 1 feature win and 1 Barfield Clean Sweep.
