By:\u00a0 Jason Loughren<\/strong><\/p>\n 10\/16\/2010<\/p>\n \u00a0It was another great Florida evening for racing at the Clay By the Bay as around 100 cars signed in for five classes of racing.\u00a0 A father and son combination visited victory lane as Jared and Tim Gay each won their feature events.<\/p>\n The Precision Kia of Wesley Chapel Street Stocks Jared Gay led flag to flag to take his first ever feature win at East Bay.\u00a0 Gay started on the front row and endured two pressure filled restarts.\u00a0<\/p>\n Thomas Pratt finished 2nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Eric Moon ran strong all night and finished 3rd<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0 JR Welden started on the pole and drove to a 4th<\/sup> place finish.\u00a0 Points leader Donnie Reed finished 5th<\/sup>.\u00a0 \u00a0Buck Woodhouse and James Hook were victorious in the heats.<\/p>\n In the Gagel\u2019s Open Wheeled Modifieds Alex Boerner led the first 10 laps of the 15 lap feature event.\u00a0 During the lap 10 caution Boerner\u2019s car stopped running and his night was over.\u00a0 That turned the lead over to Austin Sanders who drove to the victory going away.\u00a0 Bobby Dixon finished 2nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Kevin Bryant had a strong run, started 8th<\/sup> and finished 3rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Matt Fetterhoff finished\u00a0 4th<\/sup>.\u00a0 The pole sitter Hayden Campbell earned his first top 5 of the season with a 5th<\/sup> place finish.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Bruce Harvey and Austin Sanders won the heat races.<\/p>\n The Outlaw 4\u2019s Mathew Haynes picked up his 8th<\/sup> feature win on the year holding off Billy Howard.\u00a0 Billy Howard finished 2nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Stephen Hohlbaugh finished 3rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Travis Staats started deep in the field and was able to finish 4th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Chris Zimmerman rounded out the top-5. \u00a0Howard and Roberto Morfin, Jr. won the heats.<\/p>\n In the \u00a0Q Auto and Injury Limited Late Models \u00a0\u00a0Tim Gay battled his way the win holding off Scotty Williams on the last turn of the last lap to take the win.\u00a0 Scotty Williams lead most of the race and finished 2nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Daniel Woodey ran in the top-5 all night long and finished 3rd<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0 Bob Peterson and pole sitter Alex Boerner rounded out the top-5.\u00a0 Boerner and Scotty Williams won the heats.<\/p>\n In the Motorstats.com 4 cylinder bombers Raymond Vann picked up his series leading 5th<\/sup> win of the season.\u00a0 Vann appeared to hold off Jim Baker for the win but Baker\u2019s 2nd<\/sup> place finish was DQ\u2019d in post race technical inspection.\u00a0 Thomas Burnside was awarded 2nd<\/sup> place.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Jimmy O\u2019Dell finished 3rd<\/sup> after Kever Raulerson was DQ\u2019d in post race technical inspection.\u00a0 Troy Dittebrand and Gene Gross rounded out the top-5.\u00a0 Roberto Morfin, Sr., George Handy and Baker won the heats.<\/p>\n \u00a0Patrick Fiore, Gary Killeen and Kayla Jones advanced into the A-Main Event as they finished in the top-3 in the B-Main Event.<\/p>\n ASA Sanctioned racing returns to East Bay Raceway Park on Saturday, October 23, 2010 with the
