Bradenton, Fl. The final race of the 2010 season for the Florida All-Stars Tours Late Models would be held at the ASA sanctioned High Banks of DeSoto Super Speedway during the historic Seafest Weekend.<\/p>\n

Qualifying would be first up for the evening\u2019s 100-lap event. The majority of the field was in the high 14-second range but it would be Justin Larson clicking off a lap time of 14.596-second time to be the Fast Qualifier.<\/p>\n

Pills were drawn on the front stretch for the first six starting positions. Wayne Anderson and Jessie Dutilly would draw the one and two pills. Row two would be Steve Gill and FAST Rookie points leader Austin Kirkpatrick. Justin Larson and Steve Dorer would be in row three.<\/p>\n

The green would drop and Anderson would jump into lead with Dutilly hot on his heels. The first of six yellows would come out on lap five and would send fast qualifier Larson to the back of the pack. Larson would battle his way back to a fifth place finish.<\/p>\n

Dutilly closed on the leader several times but could not get around him and it was apparent that his tires were going away. Dutilly would fade to ninth place finish. Meanwhile Dorer and Boyd were getting faster and the duo had moved into second and third spot.<\/p>\n

Dorer made a run on Anderson coming out of turn two but He would go around in a cloud of smoke. FAST officials sent Dorer to the rear for bringing out the yellow. Dorer did not agree with the call and after several minutes on the track was given the black flag and retired to the pits.<\/p>\n

The final laps saw Boyd make several runs at Anderson but was unable to complete the pace with Anderson taking the checkers and the championship for 2010 FAST Late Model Series. Boyd was second, Steve Gill would battle his way to a hard fought third spot, Johnny \u201cAction\u201d Jackson would come from seventeenth to finish fourth and fifth was Justin Larson. The top finishing rookie would be Randy Anderson who finished seventh.<\/p>\n
