as four classes of cars were at the track ready to rock and roll for an exciting night of racing at the Clay by the Bay.<\/p>\n<p>The Outlaw 4\u2019s Mathew Haynes took the win after a wild final lap.\u00a0 Shirlene Hammond and Chris Zimmerman were running nose to tail as they came off of turn 4 on the last lap.\u00a0 Zimmerman and Hammond got together and they both spun right in front of the flag stand.\u00a0 Haynes took the win which was his 6<sup>th<\/sup> of the season.\u00a0 Travis Staats started 16<sup>th<\/sup> and finished 2<sup>nd<\/sup> after a strong run.\u00a0 Jason Russell finished 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Brittany Yates picked up her first top-5 of the year with a 4<sup>th<\/sup> place finish.\u00a0 Jesse Brown rounded out the top-5.\u00a0 Billy Howard and Zimmerman won the heats.<\/p>\n<p>In the \u00a0Q Auto and Injury Limited Late\u00a0 Models Forrest Gough led flag to flag to pick up his second feature win of the season.\u00a0 Gough held off the charge of Tim Powers on multiple restarts.\u00a0 Powers captured a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place finish.\u00a0 John Bradley finished 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Roger Crouse started deep in the field and finished 4<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Waylan Haynes rounded out the top 5 with a 5<sup>th<\/sup> place finish.\u00a0 Scotty Williams and and Gough won the heat races.<\/p>\n<p>In the Racecar Engineering Late Models Josh Peacock dominated the caution marred event for the win.\u00a0 The win was Josh Peacock\u2019s 6<sup>th<\/sup> win of the season.\u00a0 David Schmauss finished 2<sup>nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Philip Cobb ran strong and finished 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.\u00a0 John Koller started 10 and finished 4<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Ted Erskine started 5<sup>th<\/sup> and finished 5<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0 Cobb, \u00a0Schmauss and Wallace Peacock were victorious in the heats.<\/p>\n<p>In the Motorstats.com 4 cylinder bombers Roberto Morfin, Sr. started on the pole and led all the way to take the checkered flag for his second win of the year.\u00a0 Points leader Kever Raulerson appeared to have finished in second place but was DQ\u2019d in post race inspection.\u00a0 Mathew Odell finished 2nd after starting 9<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Mike Lacey finished 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0 Troy Dittebrand and Brett Calonge rounded out the top-5.\u00a0 Morfin, Sr., \u00a0Chuck Mathias, and Raulerson won the heats.<\/p>\n<p>Johnnie Alexander won the B\u00a0 Feature Event.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0ASA Sanctioned racing returns to East Bay Raceway Park on Saturday, September 25<sup>th<\/sup>, <sup>\u00a02010<\/sup> with the Racecar Engineering Late Model\u2019s, East Bay Sprints, Precision Kia Street Stocks,\u00a0 Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers and the Dirt Daubers.\u00a0 The Old Time Mods will also compete.
