September 11th racing at Punta Gorda Speedway is going to be a night you do not want to miss.<\/p>\n
Sept. 11th will be Patriots Weekend, with a salute to the Armed Forces Veterans, as well as honoring the Victims and Public Servants who lost their lives in the events of 9\/11. Late Models will run a Patriot 100 and the Legends will run their National Qualifier. Punta Gorda Speedway has invited several local organizations to be part of our Salute to Veterans. The Patriot 100 late model race will be one you do not want to miss, the last race proved to be very exciting and this one has had drivers calling to secure a spot in the race for 2 weeks now.<\/p>\n
Last race it was Wayne Anderson who managed to keep hard charging Dave Pletcher off for the win.<\/p>\n

Starting September 12<\/strong> Punta Gorda Speedway will be closed<\/strong> for additional repairs and improvements. We will reopen Oct 1 st for practice night for all classes.
