{"id":25773,"date":"2019-01-21T19:16:59","date_gmt":"2019-01-21T19:16:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/?p=25773"},"modified":"2019-01-21T19:17:06","modified_gmt":"2019-01-21T19:17:06","slug":"southern-all-stars-release-2019-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/racing-news\/southern-all-stars-release-2019-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"Southern All Stars Release 2019 Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>FAYETTEVILLE, TN<\/strong>\u2014The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series\npresented by MaxFab preliminary schedule has 20 dates confirmed for the 2019\nseason with a few more dates to be added in the coming days as 2019 looks to be\none of the busiest years for the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series will open the\n2019 season on Sunday afternoon March 3<sup>rd<\/sup> at The Cherokee Speedway\nin Gaffney, SC., for the 16<sup>th<\/sup> Annual March Madness paying $12,000 to\nwin.&nbsp; This race has been a traditional\nopener for the series for 15 years and always draws good car counts and crowds\nto this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series then heads\nsouth for the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Annual Bash at the Beach at Southern Raceway in\nMilton, FL., on Friday &amp; Saturday March 15-16 with a $3,000 to win show on\nFriday and a $7,000 to win on Saturday.&nbsp;\nThe series also makes another stop at the Southern Raceway Labor Day\nWeekend as the track will be celebrating its 31<sup>st<\/sup> Anniversary with a\npair of races on August 31<sup>st<\/sup> and September 1<sup>st<\/sup> paying\n$4,000 on Saturday &amp; $5,000 on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thunderhill Raceway Park\nin Summertown, TN., returns to the scheduled in 2019 as they will have two\nevents Saturday night April 20<sup>th<\/sup> a $4,000 to win show and then on\nSaturday night July 6<sup>th<\/sup> the Fourth of July Spectacular paying $4,000\nto win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Smoky Mt Speedway\nlocated in Maryville, TN., will have two events in 2019 the Rockin with the\nStars on Friday night April 26<sup>th<\/sup> paying $5,000 to win and Saturday\nnight September 28<sup>th<\/sup> the King of the Mountain&nbsp; paying $7,500 to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talladega Short Track in\nEastaboga, AL., will host three races the annual NASCAR Weekend events on April\n27<sup>th<\/sup> and October 12<sup>th<\/sup> both paying $4,000 to win and the 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\nAnnual Governors Cup on Saturday August 10<sup>th<\/sup> paying $10,000 to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duck River Raceway Park\nin Wheel, TN.,&nbsp; returns in 2019 with a\npair of races on Sat May 4<sup>th<\/sup> the Ducktona 40 will be run paying\n$4,000 to win and on Saturday June 29<sup>th<\/sup> will be another $4,000 to\nwin event,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senoia Raceway in\nSenoia, GA., has two events schedule in 2019 the first race will take place on\nMay 18<sup>th<\/sup> celebrating the 50<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary of Senoia\nRaceway in a $4,000 to win event and on June 22<sup>nd<\/sup> the Michael Head\nJr Memorial paying $5,454 to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New to the schedule in\n2019 is the Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY., this will be the first series\nappearance at the track and they will be taking part in the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\nAnnual Mike Roland Memorial&nbsp; on Saturday\nnight June 1<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Georgia gets in on\nthe action with a pair of race on Friday &amp; Saturday night September 13<sup>th<\/sup>\n&amp; 14<sup>th<\/sup> at the Oglethorpe Speedway in Pooler, GA., and the\nScreven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, GA., Oglethorpe will be paying $4,000 to\nwin and Screven $10,000 to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I-75 gets in on the\naction as the series will returns for year number two on Saturday night\nSeptember 21<sup>st<\/sup> for a $4,000 to win event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are working to\nconfirm a few more dates and should have the schedule completed by the end of\nthe month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Southern All Star\nDirt racing would like to thank all the track that have come back this year as\nwell as the new tracks and looks forward to seeing all the drivers and fans and\nlook forward to the 2019 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information\nconcerning the Southern All Stars contact Lynn Acklin &#8211;
