The Florida driver enjoyed a solid outing as he registered a podium finish.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt wasn\u2019t a bad night at all for our team, and it made the 8-hour ride a little less brutal to have such a strong run in our first time at Dixie Speedway,\u201d Dixon said. \u201cOur goal is to win the championship and the rookie title, and if we can keep performing at this level I\u2019m confident that we can reach our goals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Big Frog Motorsports team returned to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday night with Devin Dixon back behind the wheel for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series sanctioned program. With 24 cars registered in for action, Dixon locked his spot into the School\u2019s Out Bash A-Main with the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>-fastest time overall in qualifying.<\/p>\n<p>With $3,000 on the line in the feature, Devin ran in 2<sup>nd<\/sup> the majority of the feature, but slipped back to 3<sup>rd<\/sup> when the checkered flag flew, trailing Cory Hedgecock and Jake Knowles across the finish line. John Ownbey and Ronnie Johnson completed the Top-5 finishers. <em><\/p>\n<p><\/em>Devin continues to lead both the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series standings and the tour\u2019s Rookie of the Year battle by 14 markers.
