\"NSSNew Smyrna Speedway returns with NASCAR Whelan All-American Racing Series\u00a0action\u00a0Saturday\u00a0night as the Sportsman cars and drivers take center stage for\u00a0a special 50-lap event paying $1,000 to the winner. \u00a0The Sportsman have just one race in the books for 2014 so far and that was\u00a0just last week when Osteen’s Chris Brannon made a late charge to take the victory. \u00a0Brannon will have a ton of talent to deal with this week though as\u00a0the field looks to be pretty well stacked with top cars and drivers including
\nveteran campaigner Donny Williams, young charger Garrett Hill, Richard\u00a0Goodrich, Justin Starr, Daniel Conlin, Jr. and a host of others including\u00a0Timmy Todd, Jr. of Kissimmee he debuted a wild-looking new car last week.<\/p>\n

Also in action will be the Pro Late Models, E-Modifieds, Super Stocks for\u00a025-lap feature races and Strictly Stocks are slated for 20 laps on the\u00a0high-banked half mile. \u00a0Tyler Audie scored a somewhat surprising and popular Pro Late Model win on\u00a0opening night in a wild 50-lap affair that had a little bit of everything\u00a0happen to keep the fans entertained.<\/p>\n

Rookie driver Matthew Green was\u00a0impressive last week as he won the E-Modified feature in just his second E-Mod\u00a0race at New Smyrna.<\/p>\n

Pit gates open\u00a0Saturday\u00a0afternoon at\u00a03 pm\u00a0with division practice slated from\u00a04-6:10 pm. \u00a0Grandstand gates open at\u00a06 pm\u00a0followed by qualifying for the\u00a0Sportsman cars at\u00a06:20 pm. \u00a0Racing starts at\u00a07:30 pm. \u00a0Adult admission this week is $15 with a $2 discount for seniors (65+) and\u00a0military with valid ID. \u00a0All kids 11 and under get in free. \u00a0Tickets can be
