\"534774_173559259490329_410965370_n\"FAYETTEVILLE, TN\u2014 Two time Southern All Star Champion Chris Madden is going to start liking rain delayed races if this keeps up as he now has won his second rained delayed Southern All Star event of the year by capturing the 23rd<\/sup>\u00a0Annual Blue\/Gray 100 for the 4th<\/sup>\u00a0time in his racing career.\u00a0 Earlier this season with the Southern All Stars the series was at Volunteer Speedway when rain stopped the action on lap 17 with Madden on top.\u00a0 The series came back three weeks later and Madden came out the winner of the that event, now he is back in victory lane one week later claiming the $10,000 first place check.<\/p>\n

Madden who took the lead at the start continued to stay up front on the lap five restart as he showed his home track dominance leading all 100 laps and holding off challenges from Casey Roberts Early in the race, Jonathan Davenport, through the middle stages of the race and then finally a spirited battled with Don O\u2019Neal late in the race to get the win.<\/p>\n

Finishing behind Madden win second place was Don O\u2019Neal of Martinsville, IN,, third to Jonathan Davenport Blairsville, GA,, fourth to Chris Ferguson of Mt Holly, NC.,\u00a0 who set overall fast time in White Performance Qualifying and fifth to Casey Roberts of Toccoa, GA.<\/p>\n

Rounding out the top ten were Steve Shaver in sixth, Dennis Franklin seventh, Johnny Pursley eighth, Bret Home ninth and Ross Bailes tenth.<\/p>\n

Also the 2013 Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Champion was crowned as Riley Hickman of Cleveland, TN., took the championship, while the 2013 Cruise with the Champions\/DirtonDirt Rookie of the Year went to Bret Holmes of Munford, AL.\u00a0 Both of the these drivers along with the top ten in series points will be honored at the Annual Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Awards Banquet\u00a0on Saturday\u00a0night December 21st<\/sup>\u00a0at the Bearden Banquet Hall in Knoxville, TN.<\/p>\n
