CARTERSVILLE, GA \u2013 Gary Stolba of Willow Springs, MO grabbed the spotlight in NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series Week 26 action by winning the only race on the schedule that wasn\u2019t rained out\u00a0on Saturday\u00a0night at West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, MO driving the Ranchall Innovations GRT.<\/p>\n

Jerry Buck of Paragould, AR, Shawn Knuckles of Poplar Bluff, MO, Roger Witt of Batesville, AR and Kevin Collins of West Plains, MO finished second through fifth.\u00a0 Witt kept his chances alive for a Top 10 finish in the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series standings by netting six points and moving up to the 12th<\/sup>\u00a0spot in the standings.<\/p>\n

NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series Week 26 races\u00a0on Friday\u00a0night at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS, as well as\u00a0Saturday\u00a0night races at Battleground Speedway in Highlands, TX and Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS were rained out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Top 10 in the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series point standings went unchanged.<\/p>\n

Noah Daspit of Kiln, MS has clinched the 2013 NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series $10,000 Championship with a perfect best 14 week total of 700 points which represents 14 50-point wins.\u00a0 For the season, Daspit has series-leading a total of 15 wins, 27 top five finishes, and 30 top ten finishes in 33 races driving the Billy Riels Racing Trak-Star.<\/p>\n

Mike Palasini Jr. of Leland, MS has clinched the runner-up spot with a best 14 week total of 694 points.\u00a0 For the season, Palasini has nine wins and 15 top five finishes in 22 NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series races driving the MP Trucking Trak-Star.<\/p>\n

With one more week left in the season, 11 drivers will battle for the eight remaining points fund-paying positions.<\/p>\n

Shannon Lee of Lumberton, MS is third in the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series standings with a best 14 week total of 689 points after seven wins, 27 top five finishes and 30 top ten finishes in 34 NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series races driving the Billy Riels Racing GRT.<\/p>\n

Montana Dudley of Phenix City, AL is fourth in the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series standings with a best 14 week total of 686 points after nine wins, 15 top five finishes and 17 top ten finishes in 17 races driving the Zaxby\u2019s Rocket.\u00a0 Cliff Williams of Star, MS is fifth in the standings with a best 14 week total to 677 points after four wins, 16 top five finishes and 19 top ten finishes in 24 races driving the Star Plumbing Trak-Star..<\/p>\n

Michael Arnold of Hattiesburg, MS is sixth in the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series point standings after six wins, 15 top five finishes and 18 top ten finishes in 26 races driving The Strength Center Trak-Star.\u00a0 Jeff Glisson of Boaz, KY is seventh with a best 14 week total of 673 points after three wins, 12 top five finishes and 15 top ten finishes in 19 races driving the SGR Rocket.<\/p>\n

Sid Scarbrough of Florence, MS is eighth in the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series standings with a best 14 week total of 669 points after two wins, 15 top five finishes and 26 top ten finishes in a series-leading 35 races in the Villa South Trak-Star.\u00a0 Robby Moore of Brosley, MO is ninth with a best 14 week total of 668 points after one win, 15 top five finishes and 23 top ten finishes in 23 races driving the Custom Race Cars Trak-Star.<\/p>\n

Ronnie Cooper of McKenzie, TN remains tenth in the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series standings with a best 14 week total of 665 points.\u00a0 Cooper has one win, 12 top five finishes and 15 top ten finishes in 16 races driving the Ronnie Cooper Trucking Rocket.<\/p>\n

Trak-Star Race Cars built by Boland Performance of Cuba, AL has clinched its third NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series Chassis Manufacturers Challenge Championship with 50 wins, after it was learned late last week that Craig Turner, who won last week at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL is driving a Trak-Star Race Car.<\/p>\n

Four-time NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series Chassis Manufacturers Challenge Champion GRT Race Cars of Greenbrier, AR is in the second spot in the Chassis Manufactures Challenge standings after Stolba\u2019s win gave them their 30th<\/sup>\u00a0win of the season.\u00a0 Rocket Chassis of Shinnston, WV is third with 27 wins.<\/p>\n

Warrior Race Cars built by Goddard Performance of Knoxville, TN is fourth seven wins.\u00a0 Also participating in the 2013 NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man\u2019s Garage Weekly Racing Series Chassis Manufacturers Challenge and still looking for their first wins are Stinger Race Cars built by J.T.
