Pratt comes off of a runner-up finish while Clem’s last outing wasn’t as delightful. Mark Whitener is now 100 markers back, even with his two wins on the season. A further 21 back is Bryan Bernhardt who sits just 13 ahead of Jeff Mathews. The best will be gunning for the front and a new winner could rise from the dust.

The Scorpion Modifieds have Charlie O’Neill leading the way, but his lead is just a slim three points over Jeff Mathews who has been dominant this year, much like he was from 2008-2011. Scott Kurtzner sits 28 out of the lead, but he’s looking to break through with a win. Bryan Bernhardt sits 31 points out of the lead and Rich Pratt- looking for the season double- is 53 points out of the lead in a wide open division.

Devin Walker has built up a massive championship lead over Brian Shea in the Hobby Stock division. After a few runner-up finishes in his career, Walker has his eyes set on clinching the prize early. Sean Monoghan has sneaked into a very distant third after overtaking Hunter Gustafson in the season standings. Dennis Williams rounds out the top five in this wild division.

Now, while you can’t rule anyone out until the numbers say you can, it seems like the championship is down to three drivers in the 1-800-ASK GARY Thunder Stocks. William Gillam has the advantage with a 22 point lead over Brandon Elwood. Elwood has 34 between himself and third placed Melvin Fockler who can take the risks the front two can’t afford to take. Brandon Tillander and Tony Campbell round out the top five.

The Mini Sprints have gone through a rough patch over the last month, but they’ll look for comfort at Bubba Raceway Park. A track that can open up a driver’s title hopes, the 3/8 mile may just look to make someone’s year. Nick Snyder and Eddie Moss, Jr. have a win each at the larger Ocala track, while Dirk Miller does not. We’ve seen wild things- including 10 different winners in the last 12 features- from the FMSA at BRP.

Pit gates open at 4, grandstands at 5, and racing is slated for 7.
