\"WilliamSAYRE, AL\u2014The Southern Superstars Short Track Series will be back in action\u00a0on Saturday\u00a0night August 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0for the B J Parker Cancer Awareness race that will feature a 100 lap for the super late models along with a full racing program for the local classes at Sayre Speedway.<\/p>\n

Mark Day of Clarksville, TN., is currently leading the series point standings and will be in action to compete in the 100 lap super late model event.\u00a0 Day has won all three events this year with the series and is looking to capture #4, but there will be some other drivers that want to put a stop to that\u00a0this Saturday\u00a0night that include Hunter Spivey of Decatur, AL.,\u00a0 current AR Bodies Rookie of the Year contenders B J Holley of Jackson, GA., and J R Bolden of Calera, AL.,\u00a0\u00a0 Bobby Castleberry of Rossville, GA., Chase Oliver of Crossville, AL., Nathan Davis of Adamsville, AL.,\u00a0 TN., Lee Hansard of Tyrone, GA., Tom Schuette of Blairsville, GA., plus many more.<\/p>\n

This event is held in honor to longtime series Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series and Southern Superstars Short Track Series promoter B J Parker who passed away due to complications from cancer.\u00a0 This event is held in hid name to help bring awareness to cancer of all types and also for people to make donations to the American Cancer Society.\u00a0 T-Shirts will be on sale all with 100% of the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.<\/p>\n
