Schrader, Wallace, Stremme and Dillner to be part of the CRA Late Model Events Powered by JEGS<\/span><\/i><\/h3>\n

\"arcacrasmall\"Salem, IN (June 27, 2013) \u2013 Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS (CRA) officials announced today that some of the biggest favorites of Midwestern fans will be part of the action in Indy at Lucas Oil Raceway (LOR) on\u00a0Friday, July 26.\u00a0\u00a0Early commitments to race in CRA\u2019s \u201cNight of Stars Twin 100\u2019s\u201d have been received from NASCAR stars Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace, and David Stremme.\u00a0\u00a0Also on hand to meet and greet with the fans and take part in the festivities will be Fox Sports\/Speed TV NASCAR reporter Bob Dillner.\u00a0\u00a0The racing action features twin 100 lap events for the ARCA\/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS\/CRA All-Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance.\u00a0\u00a0Many of the Nation\u2019s top Super Late Model and Pro Late Model drivers will compete for bragging rights during one of the biggest racing weekends in Indy.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is great news for all the fans, teams and sponsors of CRA and Lucas Oil Raceway,\u201d noted CRA Managing Partner R. J. Scott.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cLast year was the first time we had the opportunity to bring our great short track racing to Indy during the Brickyard weekend, and it was amazing to see all the stars of racing come over from the big track just to hang out and watch our racing.\u00a0\u00a0This year we have some of them involved in the event, with even more expected to come on board and be a part of the action.\u00a0\u00a0We appreciate all the big names stars coming in to help support this event and short track racing.\u00a0\u00a0Guys like Schrader, Wallace, Stremme and Dillner all understand the challenges for short track racing and their support means a great deal to all of us.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s important for us to thank JEGS as well for all that they do, including getting their marketing partner, Kenny Wallace, involved.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

CRA Managing Partner and Series Director Glenn Luckett went on to add, \u201cOpportunities for short track racers to race in front of some of the most important people in racing are few and far between.\u00a0\u00a0This event is one of those rare opportunities for drivers and teams to try and sell themselves to team owners and sponsors at the highest levels of racing\u2026live\u2026and in person.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

For the fans, CRA\u2019s Night of Stars Twin 100\u2019s at Lucas Oil Raceway will be a great night to see some of the brightest young stars in late model racing battle some great veterans from the top levels of racing.\u00a0\u00a0Besides all the great action on the track, fans will get an up close and personal experience with the all of the drivers, including the heroes, with a pre-race autograph session.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The schedule for the\u00a0Friday, July 26\u00a0event is very \u201cFan Friendly\u201d for a\u00a0Friday\u00a0night.\u00a0\u00a0Practice will be free to watch starting at\u00a02pm.\u00a0\u00a0The stands will be cleared following practice; with the ticket windows opening at\u00a05:30\u00a0for spectators to purchase tickets, qualifying at\u00a06pm, the autograph session at\u00a07:15\u00a0and racing at\u00a08pm.<\/span><\/p>\n
