{"id":18068,"date":"2013-05-17T14:34:15","date_gmt":"2013-05-17T14:34:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/?p=18068"},"modified":"2013-05-17T14:34:15","modified_gmt":"2013-05-17T14:34:15","slug":"big-eight-division-show-friday-night-at-orlando-speedworld","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/front-page-news\/big-eight-division-show-friday-night-at-orlando-speedworld\/","title":{"rendered":"BIG EIGHT DIVISION SHOW FRIDAY NIGHT AT ORLANDO SPEEDWORLD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-18069\" alt=\"Alan Bruns will be looking to make it two for two in the Pro Late Model class (Jim Jones Photo)\" src=\"https:\/\/karnac.com\/flanews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Alan-Bruns-will-be-looking-to-make-it-two-for-two-in-the-Pro-Late-Model-class-Jim-Jones-Photo-395x317.jpg\" width=\"395\" height=\"317\" \/>Race fans will get their fill of action Friday night at Orlando SpeedWorld as eight classes are scheduled to be in NASCAR Whelan All-American Series competition.<\/p>\n<p>Friday&#8217;s program will feature the Pro Late Models, Modifieds, Legend Cars, Mini Stocks, Sportsman, Super Stocks, Strictly Stocks and Bandoleros.\u00a0 It will be just the second race of the year for the Pro Late Models, Sportsman Cars and the Legends.<\/p>\n<p>A rainout on April 19th canceled the second appearance for both the Pro Lates and Sportsman while the Legend Cars have not raced since opening night, April 5, but look to have more Legend races added to the schedule in the coming months.\u00a0 Alan Bruns won the opening race for the Pro Late Models and is expected to be at the ready to make it two in a row.\u00a0 At the April 19th rainout, Bruns also had his Modified in the pits as well.\u00a0 Young Daniel Conlin, Jr. won in his first career outing in his new Sportsman car but expect him to have a host of new challengers this week.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Orlando&#8217;s Jordan Black was the winner of the first Legend Car feature of the year and should be out to try and make it back-to-back wins.<\/p>\n<p>The Super Stocks have consistently had the largest fields of cars so far in 2013, just missing the 15-car bonus last week that would have doubled the purse for the top three spots.\u00a0 Several &#8220;regulars&#8221; were missing from the pits last week that would have put the class in the bonus had they been there.<\/p>\n<p>For the second time this season, the Strictly Stock feature will be a &#8220;Fan Fun Race&#8221;
