Reutimann is pursued by Larry Mott who comes off a career-night in which he won his heat and took 3rd place home in his Mott Concrete #Z06. Scott Kurtzner has the Interstate Batteries #1K in 3rd position while the other Scott- Scott Mooers- is 4th in the Aerotech Aluminum #10. Mooers will have to fight hard to hold off 5th-placed Ronnie Soltis. Soltis finished 2nd in the feature but didn’t start his heat in his all-new GRT Chassis. Reutimann has a tough task ahead if he’s to go 2-for-2.

Hunter Gustafson took the Team Gustafson #15 back to Coors Light Winner’s Circle and became the 1st repeat winner of 2013 in the division. Gustafson leads a charge of youth that sees “Maniac” Matt Kramer in a career-best 2nd plac. Kramer has used perseverance, over anything else, to put himself within striking distance of his fellow high-school student. The elder statesman of the group, ripe-old Devin Walker, has his Lasoski Racing #55JR in 3rd.

Walker has 2 runner-up finishes so far and hopes to scratch that as season-best soon. Donnie Ashford has last year’s championship-winning, Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers car in 4th but has something Walker and Kramer don’t- a feature win! Ashford, much like the kids ahead of him, doesn’t own his race car so decisions will be left to Rick Friend. The only driver-owner in the top 5 is 2011 Thunder Stock champion Brian Shea. Shea still seeks his first feature win and really feels that his time is near and he hopes to take the BP Electric #19 to the front.

Of course, the 1-800-ASK GARY Thunder Stocks have to make it all confusing! After 4 races we’ve had 4 different points leaders! Tony Campbell is the lucky driver up front in his Zellwood Truck Stops #6 but he has the task of holding off the JNM Ironworks #13 of William Gillam. “TC” and “Tinker” will fight hard but must hold off 2-time feature winner Bubba Durbin. Durbin knows what the points lead feels like and also knows what Coors Light Winner’s Circle feels like. Defending division champion Jonathan Appleby has the Jim’s Pit Bar-B-Q #69A in 4th place and James Erickson, a 3-time feature winner in 2012, is 5th in his Jer-Air #16. Erickson has already announced he won’t race this week so Codie Carroll, last year’s Powder Puff champion, gets the hot seat for the night. Oh, and the top 2 in points have never won a feature- it’s anyone’s game!

Josh Fincher, the A-Action Air #88 driver, continues to rack up points but still seeks that break-through win. Jerry Taylor, 2nd place, has already taken the Shade Tree Racing #31 to Coors Light Winner’s Circle but must now fend off the #2 of Robert Gullett. Gullett, as well as 4th-placed Stephen Frankland, has a feature win this season. Frankland put the Night And Day Cleaning #7UK up front and finally shook the monkey off his back. There is no resting because Bill Southard will do all he can to put the #83S into the mix as well. All heck can break loose, especially in the Rent-N-Roll Gladiators!

Finally, the Florida Mini Sprints will fight to the checkers but must trump Nick Snyder. Snyder, the Atlantic Powder Coating driver, must fend off championship-contender Eddie Moss, Jr. (who knows his way around Bubba Raceway Park) and his daughters, “Front” Paige and Rhea Lynne. The Moss Racing family knows that there’s plenty of other competition, including the Todd’s Tomatoes team-mates of Dirk Miller and Davd Hall. Finally, never count out the Jesse James Demolition drivers- Gavin Thomas and Jesse Teed. Who knows what will happen- 9 of the last 10 FMSA non-Winter Nationals races at Bubba Raceway Park have different winners!

Racing will start at 7 this Saturday with pits opening at 4 and grandstands at 5.
