\"\"WINCHESTER, VA \u2013 Aug. 25, 2012 \u2013 Wet weather forced the cancelation of Saturday night\u2019s World of Outlaws Late Model Series event at Winchester Speedway.<\/p>\n

With light rain arriving during the afternoon and a dire forecast calling for a large swath of heavier precipitation to soon overtake the area, Winchester promoter Greg Gunter made the decision to call off the program early in an effort to save fans and racers from traveling to the three-eighths-mile oval.<\/p>\n

No suitable raindate for the Ernie D\u2019s & Gunter\u2019s Honey 50 is available on the WoO LMS schedule, so Gunter will look to the 2013 season to bring the national tour to Winchester.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s rainout is the fourth of the 2012 WoO LMS season and the third event that was not rescheduled.<\/p>\n

The WoO LMS moves on to Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway on Sunday evening (Aug. 26) for the Jeff\u2019s Auto Body & Recycling 50. The tour will visit the half-mile oval for the first time.<\/p>\n
