Friday\u2019s event will be the second series event at the 4\/10\u2019s mile banked oval. Friday\u2019s race will be the ninth race of the 13 race season for the ARCA\/CRA Super Series.<\/p>\n<p>Chase Elliott got the win in last year\u2019s series event at Dixie Motor Speedway. Becca Kasten looked like she was the car to beat after a tough battle with Scott Hantz on several restarts that saw them change the lead four times, but Kasten\u2019s car slowed after taking the white flag, out of fuel. Elliott would go on to get the win with Brian Campbell finishing second and Derrick Griffin in third.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Many of the best competitors from the ARCA\/CRA Super Series will be there Friday lead by two time series Champion Johnny VanDoorn, who comes into Friday\u2019s event with a 96 point lead in the season points over Kenzie Ruston. VanDoorn has two series wins in 2012 but is looking for his first victory at Dixie Motor Speedway with the ARCA\/CRA Super Series. Top Boyne Machine Company Rookie competitor Becca Kasten is in third place in series points, she is 40 points behind Ruston. Terry Fisher Jr. is in fourth place, he is only six points behind Kasten. Rookie Travis Braden is in fifth place, he is 18 points behind Fisher Jr.<\/p>\n<p>There is an open practice on Thursday, pits open at 1pm, with practice from 2 to 7 pm. Pits open on Friday at 12noon. Practice will begin at 3pm with qualifying starting at 5:50pm. The race program will begin at 7:30pm and will include the Mid-Michigan Toyota Dealers Draper 125 for the ARCA\/CRA Super Series. The Auto Value Super Sprint Series will also be on hand for heat races and a 30 lap feature and their drivers will be part of an on track autograph session with the ARCA\/CRA Super Series drivers prior to the feature events beginning. The Dixie Factory Stocks and Bombers will also have heat races and features Friday night.
