:First of all I would like to say thanks to wild Bill for his clean driving, positive no matter what happened attitude, and for being the great sport that we was. And I cant leave out for being a great guy period. I send out my deepest sympathy to his family and friends which he obvously had so many of.
:I would also like to applaud everyone in the racing family for pulling together as we all have done in this time of tragedy. It really goes to show you that our family is probably the biggest strongest spirited family in any sport. And I believe that would make Bill proud as it would any other driver or family. No matter what happens on Sat. night after the dust has settled anyone of you would do anything you could to help out a comrad in need as we are doing now. I know many tears have been shed so far this week and there will be many more shed because wild bill will never be forgotten. And I must say that even though we all might not see Eye to Eye I am proud to have each and eveyone of you as part of my family, our family.
