Please understand that just like it takes each one of you time to prepare for a Saturday
night’s racing event, it takes Frank and Bonnie just as much time, if not more time to get
the track ready. They don’t just show up at 4:00 and open the gates. There’s a lot of
preparation involved. Not to mention it takes a lot of energy, strength and emotion to
get out there and get things ready, stuff that I don’t think they have much of right now.
It takes a lot more for the “show to go on” than what anyone realizes.
Respect their decision. We can only imagine what THEY are going through right now.
We can all morn the loss of a friend at his memorial service on Thursday and celebrate
his racing life with us at the banquet in December. Please remember Frank and Bonnie
in your prayers, they really need all of us right now.
