Make you Plans to get down and dirty this weekend with the Florida Late Model Challenge series.

Teammates Richard Ferry and Nevin Gainey are tied for the lead in the 2021 Points battle, David Markham is hoping to claim his first Series title and Adam Bedenbaugh is planning to get back to where he was most of the 2020 season.

This Saturday June 12th, the Florida Late Model Challenge Series returns to Eastbay Raceway Park for Series Race #4.

The Kart track at 4-17 Southern Speedway now asphalt will hold it’s first event on August 7th

August 7th. Will be out first time on the track. Not sure whether this is just going to be a practice day or a race at this point. Full schedule class information and rules are being put together to post we are in the process of doing that.

Blizzard Series kicks of this weekend at 5 Flags Speedway with a long list of Florida Drivers trying to lock in their spot for the Snowball Derby

This Weekend the blizzard series returns Friday night at 5 Flags Speedway and for the winner they lock in a spot into the starting field of the Snowball.  There is a good list of Florida drivers all trying to get the win and their starting spot.  SO far there are 32 drivers entered into the race this weekend.

Tonight is practice night and the race takes place on Friday.

Tyler Scofield wins his second Brandon Ford Wheel Man Series Race in round three of the series 5/29/21 at 4-17 Southern Speedway

In a car that was intact this time after the 50 lap event Tyler Scofield won the Wheel Man Series Sportsman feature at 4-17Souhtern Speedway last weekend.  After setting fast time and drawing a 12 on the invert Scofield would battle and work his way to the front to pick up his second series race in  a row.  Put the Family Famous 07 in victory lane.

A Friendship that Started at Hialeah Speedway has lead to a much anticipated race this weekend at The Motor Mile we will call ” The Old Man VS. The Kid”

A friendship that started many years ago between Joe Winchell and John Carrol, when John would crew chief for Winchell at Hialeah Speedway has come full circle leading up to a much anticipated race this weekend at the Motor Mile Speedway.   This friendship has gone on for years and when they raced Hialeah John and Susan Carrol had a son Justin.   Over the years Justin grew up watching and seeing Joe Winchell as his racing mentor.  Joe has treated Justin as son over the years and has traveled many miles to help and support Justin in his racing career.

Justin has become an accomplished racer that his parents and Winchell are proud of.  Justin has also started his own racing team or shop called Carrol Speed Shop.

Over all these years of supporting each other at the track and helping crew for each other these two will finally race against each other.  They are both excited to have this opportunity and Carrol speed shop has made it happen.  With that said we are calling this race the Old Man VS. The Kid.  Who is your pick to win this race.

Alright Facebook friends, it’s finally happening! Joe Winchell and myself will be racing against each other (officially) for the first time this weekend at Motor Mile Speedway. This is something we have talked about for a long time but could never make it happen… until now! Joe is a big part of my racing career and has helped me over the years to get to where I am today.
