FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by MaxFab preliminary schedule has 20 dates confirmed for the 2019 season with a few more dates to be added in the coming days as 2019 looks to be one of the busiest years for the series.
The series will open the 2019 season on Sunday afternoon March 3rd at The Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC., for the 16th Annual March Madness paying $12,000 to win. This race has been a traditional opener for the series for 15 years and always draws good car counts and crowds to this event.
The series then heads south for the 3rd Annual Bash at the Beach at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL., on Friday & Saturday March 15-16 with a $3,000 to win show on Friday and a $7,000 to win on Saturday. The series also makes another stop at the Southern Raceway Labor Day Weekend as the track will be celebrating its 31st Anniversary with a pair of races on August 31st and September 1st paying $4,000 on Saturday & $5,000 on Sunday.
Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, TN., returns to the scheduled in 2019 as they will have two events Saturday night April 20th a $4,000 to win show and then on Saturday night July 6th the Fourth of July Spectacular paying $4,000 to win.
Smoky Mt Speedway located in Maryville, TN., will have two events in 2019 the Rockin with the Stars on Friday night April 26th paying $5,000 to win and Saturday night September 28th the King of the Mountain paying $7,500 to win.
Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL., will host three races the annual NASCAR Weekend events on April 27th and October 12th both paying $4,000 to win and the 2nd Annual Governors Cup on Saturday August 10th paying $10,000 to win.
Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN., returns in 2019 with a pair of races on Sat May 4th the Ducktona 40 will be run paying $4,000 to win and on Saturday June 29th will be another $4,000 to win event,
Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA., has two events schedule in 2019 the first race will take place on May 18th celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Senoia Raceway in a $4,000 to win event and on June 22nd the Michael Head Jr Memorial paying $5,454 to win.
New to the schedule in 2019 is the Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY., this will be the first series appearance at the track and they will be taking part in the 3rd Annual Mike Roland Memorial on Saturday night June 1st.
South Georgia gets in on the action with a pair of race on Friday & Saturday night September 13th & 14th at the Oglethorpe Speedway in Pooler, GA., and the Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, GA., Oglethorpe will be paying $4,000 to win and Screven $10,000 to win.
I-75 gets in on the action as the series will returns for year number two on Saturday night September 21st for a $4,000 to win event.
