Crash-A-RamaBlack Friday has become a day full of shopping carts crashing and wallet-deflating craziness, but Orlando SpeedWorld has just the cure for folks who have been out in the shopping madness all day…. A night of motorized mayhem called Crash-A-Rama.

Yes, Crash-A-Rama returns in its traditional day after Thanksgiving time slot and this is expected to be one of the biggest and best shows yet. For the second time this year, School Bus Figure 8 racing returns or Orlando SpeedWorld, but the buses are just a small part of the action. Orlando Speedworld is, and always will be, the original home of Crash-A-Rama.
This is a traditional night full of crazy and unique-style races that time and time again give fans the entertainment they know and love. Started several years ago as a one-time School Bus Demolition Derby (that packed the house), track owner Clyde Hart figured out that he could have the buses race rather than destroy each other which would allow for them to be used multiple times rather than just in one Demo Derby. Eventually, more smash & crash events were added and Crash-A-Rama was born! As usual, this Friday’s event will focus on giving race fans something new and different will be sure to be one for the ages.

The armored tank known as The Gauntlet is set to return to Orlando Speedworld for its first time this year. This event is similar to a high-speed police chase; only it’s done on the race track with an indestructible van as the target to stop. Also on tap will be a stock 4 and 6-cylinder Enduro race, a Front-Wheel-Drive Demolition Derby, a Mini Van Demolition Derby, the always crazy Boat and Camper Trailer race, Flag Pole race, a Skid Car Figure 8 race (where the rear wheels of a FWD car a replaced with skid plates), a three-car Train Race where all three vehicles are chained together to form a “train,” and much more.

Along with a full night of wild and crazy races, stunt stars Chris Morena and Tim Chitwood will be putting on another awesome stunt show. Chris Morena is a professional stunt driver that has been featured on TV and the big screen. Tim Chitwood, of the famous Joey Chitwood Thrill Show family, has stuntman in his blood and bones. And – if that really isn’t enough – the Green Mamba Jet Car has been set in place to end the night off with a bang by melting down a pile of cars to just metal shells.

So If you’re ready for nonstop excitement and destruction, come out and see the biggest and best night of destruction anywhere – Crash-A-Rama at Orlando SpeedWorld – this Friday night, November 29th at 7:30 pm.
