It’s all Wings and Wedges at Desoto Speedway this Saturday Night March 5th, as the Southern Sprintcar Shootout Series makes a stop at the Florida’s fastest 3/8-mile-high banked oval. The sprint cars always put on a show and will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.
The Sportsman division is set to run the Sunbelt Rentals King of the Blacktop event which is a 100 lap race divided into three segments, 50 Laps, 30 Laps and 20 Laps. These outlaw wedge bodied beauties will be sure to please. Some of Florida’s hot shoes are making their way from the east coast with hopes in bringing the crown back home.
Along with the two headliners comes an action packed night of racing with the Take Aim Gun Range Street Stocks, LKQ Pick A Part Pure Stocks, Pep Boys Speed Shop Modified Minis, Mini Stocks, Bombers and the TQ Midgets. We will also be treating the kids to a Gold Rush.
Adult Admission is $20, Seniors/Military $15, Children 6-10 $5 and kids 5 and under are Always Free!
Friday night is practice and is always Free to spectators in the grandstands. Practice gets underway at 3pm till dark. Camping is always welcome at Desoto Speedway and we thank you for your support.
