FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will make it second stop of the season Saturday night June 17th at the Smoky Mt Speedway in Maryville, TN., for the Big Daddy 500 sponsored by Tennessee RV Supercenter paying $5,000 to win for the 40 lap event for the super late models, also on the program will be the UCRA Crate Racing Association and the Kajun Mini Stock Series.

The Southern All Stars have already made one appearance a the 4/10ths mile oval and Brandon Sheppard scored his first career Southern All Star win over a very strong field of cars, Current points leader Austin Horton of Newnan, GA., will lead the Southern All Star drivers into this weekend event as he stretched out his lead a little more over the second place driver T J Reaid of Acworth, GA., who is currently in the second spot, third is Tristan Sealy of Moultrie, GA., fourth is Eric Hickerson of Linden, TN.. The top four drivers are all rookies to touring series racing and all still have a legitimate shot at taking the point title as well as rookie of the year honors.

Other drivers from across the area that have indicated their intentions of competing Saturday night include Vic Hill of Mosheim, TN., Kayne Hickman of Soddy Daisy, TN., Tommy Kerr of Rockford, TN., Derek Ellis of Chatsworth, GA., Donald McIntosh of Blairsville, GA., Robby Moses of Maryville, TN., Chris Ferguson of Mt Holly, NC., Craig Greer Cleveland, TN., Skip Arp of Georgetown, TN., Shannon Buckingham of Maryville, TN., and Billy Ogle Jr of Knoxville, TN., just to name a few.
