ORLANDO, Fla. – Using consistent finishes and reliable equipment propelled Shane Butler to the Tampa Bay Area Racing Association championship for the 2010 campaign.

Racing out of the family racing compound in Bushnell, Fla., Butler edged former multi-time champion Dude Teate by 25 points for his second club title. He was also the 2002 champion.

Aboard his familiar red No. 18 winged 360 sprinter, the second generation driver won two of the 18 season events, scoring victories at Columbia Motorsports Park in May and DeSoto Super Speedway in late October. The nights that he did not win he was almost always a top five finisher and was always regarded as one of the handful of drivers to beat regardless of the venue.
