NeSmith_Logo 1CARTERSVILLE, GA – Jerrod Fremin of Montz, LA remains on top of the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division point standings after Week 4 competition.  Fremin has 167 points after one win and four top five finishes in four starts.  Fremin had a second-place finish on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA driving the Fremin Racing Chevrolet.

Chad Hiers of Ocean Springs, MS is second in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings in the Hiers Construction Chevrolet with 156 points.  Hiers has one top five finish and three top ten finishes in four starts.  Fremin and Hiers are the only two drivers that have competed in all four weeks of competition run so far in the 27-week season.

Kevin Spears of Fayette, AL picked up his second NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division win of the season on Saturday night at Moulton Speedway in Moulton, AL driving the Spears Racing Special.  The victory moved Spears into the third spot in the standings with 149 points.  Spears has two wins and one second-place finish in three starts this season.

Luke Riddle of Hartselle, AL is fourth in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 145 points in the Riddle Racing Chevrolet.  Riddle has three top five finishes in three starts.

Dave Nations of Raymond, MS is fifth with 144 points after turning in one win, two top five finishes and three top ten finishes in three starts driving the Street Stock Setup Specialists Chevrolet powered by a Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine.

Trey Bright of Coker, AL took his second NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division win of the season on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS and holds the sixth spot in the standings with 143 points.  Bright has two wins, two top five finishes, and three top ten finishes in three starts driving the AKA Cores Chevrolet.

Roger Flynn of Denham Springs, LA grabbed win number three on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway driving the Flynn Racing Chevrolet.  Flynn is perfect in three starts with a 40-point win and a 50-point win at St. Tammany Raceway, and a 50-point win at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.  Flynn has 140 points and the seventh spot in the standings.

Wayne Medders of Morton, MS is eighth in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 136 points.  Medders has one top five finish and three top ten finishes in three starts driving the Medders Construction Chevrolet.

Randall Horton of Moulton, AL is ninth in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 133 points.  Horton has one top five finish and two top finishes in three starts driving the Family Barber Shop Chevrolet powered by a Chevrolet Performance 602 Crate Engine.

Wayne Vintson of Bremen, AL rounds out the Top 10 in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division standings with 132 points driving the Vintson Racing Chevrolet.  Vintson has one top five finish and two top ten finishes in three starts.

Drivers that race at NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division tracks compete against each other through a points system that counts a driver’s best 14 weekly point totals during the 27-week season that runs through September 29.  The 2013 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division champion will pocket $2,000 and the National point fund pays back to the Top 10 drivers at the end of the season.
