3/26/12 – After a one week hiatus to let drivers and crews rest and rebuild the teams are ready to get back at it. RaceCar Engineering Late Model drivers will take to the track for the 3rd time in 2012 while the Limited Late Models embark on their 2nd journey. Thunderstocks and Mini Stocks also join the action for March 31st.

Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. and Mark Whitener have a stranglehold on the RaceCar Engineering Late Models but Bo Allen, Richard Ferry, and Jason Fitzgerald are all ready to attack. Allen ‘s 71 has been quick but “The Grim Reaper” hasn’t quite scared a win out of the competition yet. Bryan Bernhardt, Brandon DeWitt, and Christian Augspurger are 6th-8th but can easily move up the rankings with a win which is very possible for all of them. Bubba Clem has had some rough luck this season but still runs 9th in the standings just ahead of JO Nobles. Any driver could take a win and there would be no surprises in the field of Late Models found at Bubba Raceway Park.

The Limited Late Models last time out saw Kevin Mills take the win but Eddie Gainey actually leads the points. However, while these 2 try to pull away from the field Jerome Dipple, Wayne ONeal, and Jamie Dayhaw will try to catch them and make it a show both on track and on paper. Limited Late Model action will be intense!

Thunderstock drivers have put on some shows worthy of television and Shane Nichols has taken the lead role. The supporting cast of Jonathan Appleby, Jason Gamble, Vaughn Woodall, and Justin Durbin look to jump into their own star and show that they can win too. Chad Scranton has 2 wins but hasn’t run every race yet he still runs 6th in points. The 2012 season is set to be an absolutely exciting one!

Buddy Pope, Reid Christensen, Ray Ethridge, and Cody Kinsey. These 4 drivers lead the way for the Mini Stocks and Pope already has a win this season. Christensen looks to impress as he’s made the jump to Mini Stocks and Ethridge hopes to get back to his winning ways of 2010. We could see an absolutely brilliant feature and the drivers are ready to go full throttle.

Pits open at 4 while grandstands now open at 5! Racing is scheduled for 7. For more information you can check out www.bubbaracewaypark.com or call the Speedway at 352-622-9400.
