Their latest original acrylic painting called "Under the Lights" by Daytona USA. The painting was added to the artist gallery in July. It will remain on display for the next three years for race fans to view and enjoy.
"This painting was my way of paying tribute to the man who brought this sport from the back roads to the forefront of sports," said motorsports artist, Tom Gray. "I'm sure that Bill France, Sr. would be proud of NASCAR stockcar racing today and would approve of running the July event under the lights."
The painting, which features a night view of the main grandstand under the watchful eye of Bill France Sr., captures the spirit of stockcar racing. "It reminds us that as the sport propels itself into the future, it maintains a close relationship with its past," added Gray. "
Fans wishing to have a copy of "Under the Lights" can find it in the summer edition of the Daytona International Speedway magazine called "PITSTOPS." No announcement has been made regarding limited edition prints or posters.
