These rules ar only valid for Orlando Speedworld and New Smyrna Speedway. 1999 FASCAR RULES - STRICTLY STOCK 8 CYLINDERS and STRICTLY STOCK 4 CYLINDERS
STRICTLY STOCK 8 CYLINDERS - 1970 or newer American made l05" wheel base full
frame auto with factory steel top and body, except full size MOPAR. NO
UNIBODY CARS. Stock wheels only. 7" maximum stock offset. Optional safety
rims allowed must have stock offset. CARS MUST BE LEVEL.
TROPHY CLASS ONLY - 1st FIVE PLACES
1. PURPOSE; Provide an inexpensive ENTRY level stock car racing division for
the
NOVICE driver.
KEEP IT SIMPLE. KEEP IT AS IT WOULD APPEAR ON THE STREET.
2. ELIGIBILITY
DRIVER - NOVICE DRIVER ONLY. The driver will move up to a regular
FASCAR licensed division or sit in the Grandstands if deemed NOT a
novice Driver by Track Officials.
3. SAFETY EQUIPEMTN: MANDATORY - DOT approved helmet with face shield or
goggles. Approved/dated 3 year maximum. Approved window net with
release.
Full long sleeved shirt, long pants, full shoes REQUIRED. NO TANK tops.
shorts, sandals, etc. OPTIONAL. 4 way safety harness, fully charged
fire
extinguisher mounted within Driver's reach. ON BOARD FIRE SYSTEM -
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. COMPLETE FIRESUIT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
ANY/ALL SAFETY EQUIPMENT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - BE SAFE.
4. GENERAL RULES. All tires the same size - all 4 must be either l4" or l5"

80 series stock DOT. NO TRUCK OR TRAILER TIRES. No truing or soaking
TIRES MAY BE DISMOUNTED AND CHECKED FOR SOFTENERS OR
ADDITIVES AT ANY TIME. IF FOUND ILLEGAL, TIRES WILL BE
CONFISCATED BY THE TRACK. 30 lb. MINIMUM TIRE PRESSURE ON ALL
4 TIRES. ****NO LEANING OR TIRES**** FULL INTERIOR MUST REMAIN
COMPLETE. REMOVE all glass except windshield. Doors must be welded
shut. Completely stock engine for that year make, model and stock
carburetor maximum size - 4 barrel. No cleaning, No tinkering of
engines.
Stock gas tank in stock location. Fuel Cell/Steel Boat Gas Tank if
mounted
in trunk must have a steel case with 3 steel straps - must be strapped
securely. Open chamber heads only. NO FUEL INJECTION CARS. Stock
rear end for that year, make, model, cannot be welded or locked or
posi
traction. Stock suspension, no modifications of any kind.
NO ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS
PUMP GAS ONLY - no fuel mixtures or racing fuels. Remove any trailer hitches.
Door panels may be removed to remove door glass only. Door panels must be
replaced. *FULL INTERIOR MUST REMAIN COMPLETE.* (Right down to the carpet
on the floor). Battery must be safely secured in stock location. Drive shaft
must be painted white; loop MANDATORY. Bumpers must be STOCK, comp0lete -
NO GUTTING. Trunk hinges MUST have hoodpins, latches removed. Trunks MUST
also have hoodpins, latches removed. Transmission must be stock. All body
sheet
metal must be kept in place at all times - NO sheet metal screws - RIVETS
ONLY.
5. ANY DRIVER DISQUALIFIED BECAUSE THE CAR WAS FOUND ILLEGAL WILL
NOT RACE. IF YOU ARE FOUND ILLEGAL 2 TIMES, YOU WILL MOVE UP
TO A FASCAR LICENSED DIVISION IF INSPECTION IS REQUIRED ON YOUR
CAR TOO FREQUENTLY - S E E Y A!!
6. ROLL CAGE: Bolt in type optional for Driver safety. *****FULL INTERIOR
MUST
REMAIN COMPLETE****
7. If you go into the pits during a race, you will NOT be allowed back on the
track for the remainder of the race.
8. CAR NUMBERS; 2 DIGITS ONLY - NO 3 DIGIT LETTERS OR NUMBERS ARE
ALLOWED. REFER to #17 in General Rules. If a Driver purchases a current
FASCAR license he/she will keep his/her number for the entire racing
season.
If a Driver does not purchase a FASCAR license, the numbers are "first
come
first serve" and he/she may be required to change his/her number from
week to
week.
9. DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A NEW "FASCAR" PICTURE ID $5.00.
THIS IS NOT A FASCAR LICENSE AND DOES NOT ENTITLE THE BEARER TO
ANY BENEFITS OF A FASCAR LICENSE.

11. Features only. NO HOT LAPS
12. All other general rules of the track apply. The track reserves the right
to make
changes for the safety of the class.
KEEP IT STOCK, INEXPENSIVE, EASY AND FUN
The Race Track Management Reserves the Right to Add or Delete Rules at Their
Option. Their decision is FINAL in all cases.
(The rules above also apply to the new Strictly Stock 4 Cylinder Class. This
Class is
l970 or newer. Any 4 cylinder on original frame with factory body. CAR MUST
