Orlando SpeedWorld Won by Mother Nature | by Jane Smith Clear skies all around Orlando SpeedWorld but the only rain cloud in site found it's way to Bithlo and rainned out the races for October 11th.
With only a few weeks left in the close points battle in every class, this will make for even more hard charging by the top point holders.
Jared Allison holds a 100 point lead over second place Ronnie Roach. Enough races are left that this could change so you can bet that Allison and Roach will be racing hard for that championship in the Super Late Model division.
Open wheel modifieds have John Foerg just 20 points ahead of Bobby Blake. This could go either way which only makes for more tension.
Bobby Orr and Tim McPhail are only 32 points apart in the race for the Mini Stock Championship. With several wins under his belt, McPhail could see his second Mini Stock Championship at Orlando SpeedWorld although rookie Orr certainly wants that title also.
Cory Freed and Jeff Wright are running first and second in the Super Stock division. Cory has 576 points with Wright at 512. This could still go either way.
Next weekend, October 18th, the Super Late Models will be off due to the race at Lakeland's USA International. But there will be a Super Stock 50 lapper plus Sportsman, Modifieds, Mini Stocks and Strictly Stocks. Have an opinion on this story?
