Foerg, Clouser, Johns and Reynolds Big Winners at Orlando SpeedWorld

With the Super Lates and Mini Stock divisions being off due
to the Sebring races this weekend, only the Sportsman,
Open Wheel Modifieds, Super Stock and Strictly Stocks were
on hand for plenty of heat and feature racing.

Cory Abbott #5 won the heat race and the feature race for
the Bandoleros. Abbott lead every lap in their feature
with Troy Atkins in second. Dalton Zehr came in third
followed by the #38 and #21.

Wayne Parker #3 won the heat race for the Open Wheel
Modifieds. But it was the #2 Skip Honaker on the pole
for the feature event. Honaker had a good car but John
Foerg #30 was not going to settle for less than the win.
Foerg jumped to the lead over Honaker and led to the
checkers. Frank Polly #34 was able to pass Honaker and
take second putting Honaker third. Wayne Parker and
Shane Held rounded out the top five. Bobby Blake in the
#2x was sixth followed by #38 Dave Debelius in 7th and
the #69r.

Rick Johns #4 and Bruce Gayton #93 won the heat races in
the Sportsman Division. Gayton sat on the pole for the
feature event but it was the #4 Rick Johns who quickly
took the lead and never looked back. In the heat race,
the #23 Richard Hight and #3 Earl Beckner got tangled up
when Hight hit the wall coming off turn 2 and collected
Beckner by accident. Beckner was able to repair the car
for the feature but it seemed to overheat and he retired
for the night. Hight also had problems and retired his
car. Following Johns to the checkers was #93 Bruce Gayton,
#31 Paul Cogan, #9 Kelly Jarrett, #77 Danny Shearer, #11
Jason Hall, #22 Homer Gordon, #5 David, #7, #75 Scott
Stone, #23 Richard Hight, #80 Donnie Smith and #3 Earl
Beckner.

The Super Stocks also had two heats with #50 Jeff Wright
and #12 Cory Freed taking the wins. On the pole for the
feature event was the #17 Rich Clouser Clouser had to
really work for the lead as he and #64 Billy Cuddy ran
side-by-side, door-to-door for the first few laps.
Eventually Clouser was able to get his nose up front and
never looked back. Following Clouser to the checkerw
was #50 Jeff Wright, #27 Scott Tyler, #16 David Gould,
#44 Bob Deiler, #11 Duane Freed, #00 John Hodge, #7b
Bob Wines, #28 Ron Edwards, #12 Cory Freed, #64 Billy
Cuddy and #5.

Justin Reynolds #20 did double duty as he won both the
heat and feature race in the Strictly Stocks. Mike
Amate #6 sat on the pole for the feature event but it
was the #14 Roger Denton who was able to take the lead
from Amate who had mechanical problems and retired.
Denton held the lead until the #20 Reynolds was able to
make the pass and take over the lead. Following Reynolds
to the checkers was #14 Roger Denton, #55 Jim Messenger,
#27 Robert Ward, and #6 Mike Amate.

Join us next weekend at Orlando SpeedWorld for heats and
features in Super Lates, Mods, Sportsman, Super Stocks,
Mini Stocks, Strictly Stocks, Bandoleros and the Classic
Auto Racing Series.
