Schedule Change for Orlando SpeedWorld Winter Series and New Insurance Policy Rule | FASCAR Media
Orlando, FL (December 19, 2007) The Orlando Winter Series race rescheduled for December 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. has been moved back to the original date of January 19, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. This change is being made to accommodate our drivers and fans who are visiting family over the holidays. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. For more information on the Orlando Winter Series visit www.orlandospeedworld.org.
All drivers, no matter what division including Bandoleros and Legends, must have their extra insurance policy by January 1 to be able to race January 5, 2008 in the Winter Series. This policy is for anyone who races under the age of 18. The policy must be bought before you can go on the track at SpeedWorld on January 5th.
Except for Bandoleros and Legends, all drivers now at FASCAR tracks must be 14 years of age or older to race. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Any driver over the age of 18 can also purchase the extra medical insurance for $400.00 for the year beginning January 1, 2008 and ending December 31, 2008. This policy will cover the driver in a racecar at any track in the country not just in Florida or FASCAR tracks.
