February 8, 2007 MARIO GOSSELIN AND DGM RACING READY FOR RETURN TO DAYTONA FOR ARCA 200 By James Carter After preparing multiple speedway cars during the break and doing two test sessions (i.e., Daytona and Talledega) DGM Racing is finally ready for the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. The team is owned by Mario Gosselin who is also the driver of the team’s #12 Chevrolet. Mario has a three wins to his credit in the ARCA RE/MAX series and is eagerly looking forward to the chance to win again. “Daytona is a huge challenge,” said Gosselin. “It’s the biggest race of the year and probably the most difficult to prepare for. What was good last year won’t be good enough this year so we constantly strive to get better. Meanwhile, you can never be quite sure how well you are going to ‘stack-up’ against your competition until everyone gets to the track and the competition begins. All I can tell you is that we’ve worked really hard during the past few months in an effort get ready for this race and the new season. Hopefully it will begin to pay off for us starting next week.” Gosselin and his team are proud to have the support of several returning sponsors for this year’s ARCA 200 at Daytona. We still need, and are seeking to obtain, additional marketing partners for this race and the rest of the season.” In 29 starts in the ARCA RE/MAX series, Mario has 3 wins, 8 top fives and 13 top ten finishes. He has led 262 laps in 8 races and has 2 poles to his credit. In last year’s season opener at Daytona he ran near the front most of the day and finished 9th.
