Dickie Anderson, in the familiar #00 took the lead on lap 15 and went on to win the Sunbelt Super Series 125 at the USA International Speedway on Saturday night. Anderson started in sixth place and moved to fourth place on the first lap, by lap 11 he was in second. After that it was a race to see who would finish second.

James Powell started second and was able to lead the first 14 laps before giving up the lead to Anderson. After Anderson took over the lead, Powell was able to hold on to second place until lap 70, when Mike Good went to the inside of Powell in turn one and finally passed him in turn four. Good was able to hold on to second until lap 97 when he and Jeff Emery tangled in turn four. This allowed Jeff Sloan to take over the second spot.

Ricky Carlton was then able to take over the third spot during this spin. After this the top three spots were already settled and Anderson was able to build his lead lap by lap. At the finish he was four car lengths ahead of Sloan.

In the SARA Late Model Series, Bobby Beauchemin was able to take the lead on lap 19 and hold the lead as he won by a full four seconds over Jason Boyd. Wayne Morris started on the pole and was able to lead the first 18 laps but lost the lead to Beauchemin in turn one on lap 19. On lap 46 Brad Barkis caught fire and hit the turn one wall hard. Fire and rescue personnel were right there to take care of business quickly and Barkis was shaken but ok.

Beauchemin was able to build an eight-car lead by lap 85 over the second place car of Dwayne Dempsey. Boyd was then able to pass Dempsey for second, but was never able to challenge Beauchemin for the win.

In the SARA open wheel modified series, Dwayne Dempsey was able to take over the lead on lap two and finish the night with a win after his third place finish earlier in the SARA late model series.

Dempsey, after taking over the lead, was able to build a straightaway lead on the second place car of #5. Dempsey was never threatened for the lead and built up a five-second lead by the end of the 35-lap event.
